  Founded in 1908, this bipartisan organization of the nation's governors promotes visionary state leadership, shares best practices on a variety of issues, and represents the states on Capitol Hill and before the Administration. The NGA also provides management and technical assistance to new and incumbent governors.

• US Conference of Mayors
  
  The USCM is the official nonpartisan organization of U.S. cities with 30,000 or more residents. Each city is represented at the Conference by its mayor. The USCM strives to promote development of effective urban and suburban policies at the federal level and to foster good relations between the cities and the federal government. It provides leadership and management tools for mayors as well.

  The ABA is a non-profit organization that provides leadership to birders by increasing their knowledge, skills, and enjoyment of birding. They are the only organization in North America that specifically caters to recreational birders. They contribute to bird and bird habitat conservation through their varied programs.

• National Council of Textile Organizations
  
  The National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) is an association that represents the entire spectrum of the textile industry. From fibers to finished products, machinery manufacturers to power suppliers, NCTO is the voice of the U.S. textile industry. There are four separate councils that comprise the NCTO leadership structure, and each council represents a segment of the textile industry and elects its own officers who make up NCTO's Board of Directors.
